ZAHARNI ZAVODI implemented a program to provide social benefits to the employees of the company. The program is worth 39.4 thousand leva, 27% of which are provided by the company’s own funds. It includes the creation of specialized recreation and catering facilities as well as the provision of sports facilities on the territory of the company.
The program is part of Project ВG05M9OP001-1.008 – 0546 “For better and safer working conditions in Zaharni Zavodi JSC implemented with the financial support of the Operational Program “Human Resources Development” 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union.
“Investing in social benefits and creating conditions for strengthening informal relationships between employees are prerequisites for improving the working climate and improving workplace satisfaction. This is the second winning project of the new programming period 2014-2020 under OP “Human Resources Development” and we believe its efficiency will be high. So far, the company has implemented 29 projects under Operational Programs with European funding,” said Valentina Raleva, Chief Executive Officer of Zaharni Zavodi JSC.
In the implementation of the program, a room for recreation and catering for 100 people in the base for production of confectionery was repaired and equipped. Tables and chairs were bought, a refrigerator, a microwave and a water dispenser.
10 benches, a parallel and a tennis table were bought. The facilities will complement outdoor recreation and sport and create the conditions for active use of staff breaks.
