Zaharni zavodi won the Product Rebranding Award for “Sweet Times” by the Bulgarian Association of Advertisers. The BAA Awards are bestowed on companies with the best and innovative marketing strategies over the past year and a half.
Sweet Times is a unifying brand for khalva and turkish delight produced by the company. Sweet times are for those who value traditions, that’s why it offers handmade products based on original Bulgarian technology, preserved for more than 100 years.
“The introduction of the Sweet Times brand is a strategic goal we have been working on for the past two years. We are proud of the results achieved and the prize received. We thank all the partners we worked with on the project.” said Krassimir Dobrev, executive director of Zaharni Zavodi Trade.
The strategy for introducing the brand consists of a step-by-step change of item packaging, business activities to business partners and end-users at the point of sale, print advertising and TV advertising.
The results of the rebranding: 50% growth in domestic sales in both categories and more than impressive brand awareness results: 97% popularity in the turkish delight category and 86% in the khalva category.
